We hope you and your students are able to join DAFT this Friday at the Motion Picture Institute in Troy for an exciting Media Student Symposium. Lunch is included and chaperons are free. Media professionals will be working with the students on real-world problem-solving and there will be hands-on time for the students to try their hands at equipment, too! Registration and the agenda can be found via this link! 8-8:30 AM check-in--donuts, bagels and beverages provided!
We need to order food and tables, so if you're coming please register ASAP--and if that may take a day or so, please drop me a quick email to let me know how many folks you're bringing!
We're also looking for some great mini-lessons from some of our visiting teachers and pros to show during a few of the breaks--along with some student work, so contact me via the info below if you feel like you'd like to share your skills and great student work!
DAFT students members pay only $10 ($20 non-members) and if your school is an institutional member, you get three admissions to Friday included. Here's the link to our membership page.
As usual, feel free to contact me at the info below if you have any questions!
