DAFT Workshops - Animation & Video Camps
CAMP OVERVIEW
Students learn animation and/or video techniques, storyboard, direct, and collaborate on the production of a short film and/or animation during an intensive one week workshop designed to accommodate students of all abilities. Students receive a DVD of all completed shorts created at the workshop and be the special guests at the premiere of the films.

HVCA August 2014 Animation Camp
Huron Valley Council for the Arts' is calling artists and budding artists to join the 8th annual Animation Class. This class is a fast paced adventure where students learn all aspects of creating an animated short: storyboarding, directing, drawing, and filming. The curriculum is designed to encourage collaboration and to accommodate students of all abilities. Students will receive a DVD of the animation shorts created and will be the special guests at the 2014 premier of the films. Select student work will be sent on to be juried for D.A.F.T.'s Michigan Film Festival that occurs annually at the DIA in downtown Detroit.
Animation & Video Camps run annually for one week each summer. Class meets daily.

INSTRUCTORS
John Prusak
Lead instructor John Prusak has taught video and animation to students of all ages for more than 30 years; he has facilitated numerous workshops with a team of knowledgeable animators. John has worked on noted films and television shows in Michigan and Hollywood, winning numerous awards for his work.
