From his Nominators...

Through his encouragement and guidance, I quickly fell in love with film and the creative process behind it. Over time, he became more than just a teacher, he became my advisor and a second dad at school.

– Alexis, student

He introduces us to classic films that expand our understanding of storytelling and inspires us to think more creatively. He also leads after-school programs where students have the opportunity to create full productions, an experience that goes far beyond typical coursework.

- Gloria, student

He makes school fun, and always keeps me engaged. As my film teacher, he’s raised me to a level that even some college kids haven’t achieved

- Shane, student

Over a decade ago, he founded the school’s film program and has been its driving force ever since. Through his vision, dedication, and countless hours of work, he built a thriving program that inspires students year after year.

- Nin, parent

Congratulations Brett for this well-deserved honor and thank you!
