OVERVIEW
The Art in Motion (AIM) workshop provides an intensive, hands-on experience in animation for classroom teachers and other interested adults.
AIM offers an opportunity to try a variety of animation techniques and styles as well as other aspects of production including storyboarding, editing, sound and, for teachers, classroom applications. This workshop qualifies for University Credit hours through Central Michigan University for an additional fee, see below.
Art in Motion (AIM) runs annually for one week each summer. Class meets daily.
- Monday – Thursday 9am-5pm
- Friday 9am-1pm.
Evening hours are available for additional work time and project viewing.

INSTRUCTORS
John Prusak
Award-winning Cinematographer with 60 film credits. B.S., Visual Arts, Northern Michigan University M.S., Communications, The University of Michigan
Vic Spicer
An award-winning animator, musician and professional video producer. He is currently working on a TV sitcom being produced in Detroit.
Annette Alexander-Frank
An award-winning art teacher and arts advocate who has coordinated media workshops for students and teachers for 30 years.

LOCATION
The Howell Nature Center (1005 Triangle Lake Rd, Howell, MI 48843, USA), an educational facility located between Lansing and Detroit, MI. Instructors reside at the Nature Center for the duration of the workshop.
